Temperatures are expected to dip below freezing point in the borough.
By Sunday, the Met Office predicts the weather to dip to -2 degrees in Bury, plunging the borough into freezing temperatures that haven’t been seen for the past month.

Today, Monday, and tomorrow, Tuesday, will see highs of just three degrees while Wednesday will rise to six.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday will peak at six degrees.
Later on in the month, the Met Office have predicted a continuation of the cold weather, with a risk of snow showers being forecast.
Met Office chief forecaster Jason Kelly said: "It will become rather cold this week with lower-than-average temperatures across much of the UK, accentuated by brisk easterly winds in the south.
“As the prevailing weather conditions will be characterised by high pressure, a good deal of settled weather is likely.

"Clearer skies and a marked reduction in precipitation are expected, although any showers that do occur are likely to be wintry in nature.
"A combination of overnight freezing temperatures, saturated ground and calm winds mean increasing risks of frost, fog and icy conditions.”
