A shop in Bury was taped off this morning, Thursday, after a break-in.
The Co-op store on Walmersley Road was cordoned off and forensic officers present following the burglary.

The incident was reported at 1am and no arrests have been made.
An eyewitness said that they saw the shop was cordoned off at around 7.35am.

They added that the shop has had a number of break-ins in the past.
The shop is still closed currently and it is unclear when it will reopen.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “At approximately 1am on Thursday, January 4, officers were called to reports of a burglary of a premises on Walmersley Road in Bury.
"No arrests have been made at this time although enquiries are ongoing.”
