Four Bury residents have been recognised for their services to the community in the New Years Honours list.
The royal awards list is published every year to recognise and reward the good work of citizens across 15 commonwealth countries.
The honours system recognises people who have made achievements in public life or who have committed themselves to serving and helping Britain.
These honours are awarded by King Charles III and appointments are usually recommended by outgoing or current Prime Ministers.
