Weather warnings are in place across the UK and Ireland as wet and windy conditions threaten to disrupt the start of the weekend.
A yellow alert for rain covering Bury and Bolton is in place until 3am tomorrow.
Yellow alerts for wind have also been issued for both towns which will be in place until 11.45pm this evening.

The Met Office has warned that strong winds could lead to transport disruption and heavy rain will impact travel times.
They have added that the flooding of some homes and businesses is likely.
Rain will move across the areas this morning, followed by a drier interlude and then heavy showers again this evening.

A spokesperson from National Highways North West said: “Strong winds may lead to some transport disruption.
"Winds will increase during Saturday.
“While gusts of 45-55 mph are widely expected, 60-65mph are possible along west coastal parts between the Wirral peninsula and Lancaster.
“Winds then easing slowly later on.”
