Magistrates have recently dealt with a number of people from Bury for a range of offences.
Defendants have been sentenced for offences including harassment, driving without insurance and breach of the sex offenders register.
Daniel Mahon drove a Kia Optima on Fern Street, Bury, with no insurance in May last year.
The case against the 18-year-old was proven at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court.
Mahon, of Ainsdale Avenue, Bury, was fined £660 and given six points on his licence.
Sarkatt Salim failed to comply with the notification requirements of the sex offenders register.
The 24-year-old was required to register his address every 12 months even if there was no change to it.
However in May this year he failed to attend at the police station to do this.
He admitted the offence at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court.
Salim, from Cateaton Street, Bury, was fined £230 with his guilty plea being taken into consideration.
Robert Carroll drove a car while disqualified.
He was behind the wheel of a Citroen Berlingo on Wenning Close, Whitefield, while banned from the roads in November.
The 38-year-old admitted the offence at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court.
Carroll, of Parrenthorn Road, Prestwich, was jailed for 16 weeks to due a "blatant disregard of a court order" and banned from the roads for 54 months.
Barry Carrington harassed a man over a week long period in May this year in Bury.
He threw items at his victim's address, made threats, knocked over a plant pot outside his home and shouted at his home.
The 35-year-old admitted the offence at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court.
Carrington, of Abingdon Close, Whitefield, was placed on a community order to last for six months.
As part of this he was required to do complete up to 30 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
