Staff at a metal finishing company are celebrating after winning an industry award.
Phoenix Electroplating Ltd on Milltown Street in Radcliffe picked up the Outstanding Company Achievement Award at the Surface Engineering Awards on October 20.
The award ceremony took place at the Grand Hotel in Birmingham.

The company were also finalists in the "quality" category.
Directors John and Kate Carty were among the management team to receive the award on the night.
The outstanding company achievement was awarded due to the company nearly doubling in terms of staff, workload and turnover from December 2021 to December 2022.
The firm's turnover for the year ending January 2022 was up 106 per cent from the previous year too.

This is set to increase again with turnover for the first quarter of 2024 being up 34 per cent from the same period last year.
The firm has achieved this success without any marketing, attributing its growing reputation to word of mouth.

In a statement, John and Kate said: “We credit our success to the hard work and dedication of all our staff.
“Staff joining from other firms have all stated they have never been as content or felt as appreciated at work.
“We view our staff as our most valuable asset and therefore we ensure that conditions, training, treatment, salaries and bonuses are all exceptional.”
Phoenix also has quarterly social events and have a low staff turnover, helping customers benefit from the continuity of experienced employees.
