An iconic Bury town centre building, which used to serve as a bank, has been put up for sale.
The former Barclays bank site at 26 Silver Street has been listed for sale by agents Pearson Ferrier for a price of £599,950.
The Grade II listed building was built in 1836 for the Bury Banking Co. It was later used by the council for its chamber and offices as well as the bank which occupied the building until 2010, when it relocated to The Rock.
Now empty, the agent has put the building on the market with a range of potential uses including hospitality, retail, offices, a gym, or residential.
The property has three floors at a total of 818 sq/m.

Heritage organisation Historic England notes the building's enriched classical style and plasterwork.
It is listed for its special architectural or historic interest.
The borough is home to 250 listed buildings throughout the borough, including the Bury Transport Museum and the Bury War Memorial.
