Bury's motorists will have two road closures to avoid on the National Highways network this week.
One of them is expected to cause moderate delays with drivers facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M60, from 8.30pm October 18 to 5am December 15, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 both directions junction 18 to junction 16 - lane closure for construction improvement/upgrade.
One more closure will begin over the next two weeks:
• M66, from 9pm December 11 to 5am December 13, moderate delays 10 to 30 minutes: M66 southbound, junction 2 entry slip road closure due to drainage.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
