A man has been taken to hospital with 'serious injuries' after he was hit by a Metrolink tram in Oldham town centre this morning.
At around 11am (November 28), Greater Manchester Police officers were called to reports of a crash involving a tram and a pedestrian on King Street.
Emergency services attended the scene and a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A spokesperson for the force said no arrests have been made but a cordon remains in place while officers conduct further enquiries.
Metrolink services travelling through Oldham, including Oldham Central and King Street, have also temporarily been suspended while the scene is in place.
