An accountancy firm in Bury has launched its annual Christmas present appeal.

Chartered accountancy, business advisory and financial planning group PM+M is asking clients, contacts, friends and the community to donate gifts to help vulnerable families and children.

It is the 13th year the firm has run the appeal, which aims to help make the festive season special for people who are unlikely to receive presents on Christmas Day.

Helen Clayton, managing partner at PM+M, said: “There are hundreds of families across Bury, Blackburn and Burnley who are facing a tough Christmas.

“The cost of living crisis has affected so many people, so we hope this appeal plays a small part in bringing some much needed joy and creating some smiles.”

The accountancy is asking for gifts that are new, unopened and around the value of £10.

They should be for teenagers and children of any age and not include alcohol and confectionery

The gifts can be dropped off at either of PM+M’s main offices, including the Bury premises on First Floor, Sandringham House, Hollins Brook Park, Pilsworth Road BL9 8RN between 8.45am and 5pm, on weekdays, by Monday, December 11.

PM+M has also put together an Amazon wish list (link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/ETH8I21Z942G/ref=nav_wishlist_lists_1) which can be used to purchase a gift that will then be delivered direct to one of the offices.
