A group of neighbours in Radcliffe threw an impressive Halloween bash on Saturday in their impressive alleyway.
Residents and members of the Cosley Alley Project once again came together as a community, this time to celebrate the spooky season.
Banding together, neighbours huge string from windows, painted wheelie bins and decked out the shared back area just off Abden Street ready for their Halloween bash.
Immi Samir, who lives on the street, and was dressing up as Harry Potter, said: “All the neighbours here come together as a community and it is so nice.
“I haven’t lived on a street like this since I was a child, when you would play out with all the other children on the street together.
“This is the first time, as an adult, where I have had anything like that.
“It feels like going back to the old days with all the neighbours out and kids playing happily.”
Also in attendance was the mayor of Bury, Cllr Sandra Walmsley.
Ahead of the event, one neighbour had offered to put her artistic skills to use and painted the back of wheelie bins with Halloween themed characters.
Neighbours on the street say they love where they live and take pride in their alley, which they all chip in to keep clean, tidy, and blooming.
