Bury's first food and drink festival will showcase the best of the town, a councillor has said.
The festival will be located at the Millgate, Market Square and parts of Bury Market for five days from November 8 to November 12.
Local vendors will be able to offer the very best that Bury is known for as well as foods from around the world being available too.

Cllr Charlotte Morris, Culture, Economy and Skills, said “I am very much looking forward to Bury’s Food and Drink festival.
“I think it is another great opportunity to show off what Bury has to offer from music and entertainment through to delicious food and drink.

“I look forward to exploring what our local vendors have on offer and taking full advantage of our town centre nightlife.
“I encourage anyone interested in exploring our fantastic local entertainment and hospitality to get involved and enjoy the festival.”

The Bury Beer Festival will also be taking place at the Derby Hall on November 10 and 11.
It will feature an array of artisan and craft beer as well as a cider bar, gin bar and wine tasting.
Breweries already confirmed are Northern Money, Rivington and Deeply Vale.

• Music in bars across Bury, with a continuation of the food and drink promotions
