This family friendly event is taking place on November 4 and 5, with multiple time slots on each day.
ELR chairman Mike Kelly said: “The Gruffalo began as a figment of the imagination, and we will be bringing him to life for children, and those who are children at heart.
“This is the first time the Gruffalo has come to East Lancashire Railway, and it will be a fun-filled day out for the whole family.”
