A Bury-based company have completed a year of fundraising to give six charities a share of £20,000.
Car Benefit Solutions (CBS) based at The Barracks in Bury decided to give back as part of celebrating 20 years in business.
CBS’ head of people and customers, Elise Broderick, and HR officer Lauren Allinson kicked off the donations by presenting a large cheque to Bury Hospice corporate fundraiser Nina Camplin.

Nina said: “I had the pleasure of receiving a large cheque from Car Benefit Solutions, a valued patron of Bury Hospice.
“With their phenomenal amount of money raised, £5,000, we can continue to provide excellent care and support, either here at the hospice or in the community.
“We only receive 13 per cent in direct funding, which means we have 87 per cent to find through the generosity of our local businesses and community.
“Every penny is vital and very much appreciated.”
The next charity chosen was Bolton Lads and Girls Club where HR and L&D administrator, Lucy Gildea and junior HR officer, Tosin Gege delivered the next donation.

After receiving it, relationship manager, Julie Feeley said: “We are thrilled to receive this unbelievable donation from Car Benefit Solutions.
“The fundraising they do impacts so many great charities in the community and here at BLGC their donation allows us to keep providing opportunities and support to young people in Bolton and Greater Manchester. Thank you so much.”
Bury Cancer Support, located next to CBS' head office, received its donation from HR officer Ashley Schofield.
Jan Katana from Bury Cancer Support said: “We're exceptionally grateful to Car Benefit Solutions for their continuing support and recognition of the work we do.
“We’d like to thank everyone at CBS for their fundraising efforts and generosity.
“This wonderful donation will ensure the continuation of our vital service of supporting cancer patients and their families.”

Donations were also made to The Fusilier Museum, Bury Christian Fellowship, and Manchester Dogs' Home.
CBS has worked with all six charities for several years, believing strongly in the work they do for the local area.
This special year of fundraising saw colleagues embark on a number of challenges including Tough Mudder at Heaton Park, 10K runs around Bury town centre and Tatton Park, a 160ft bungee jump at Salford Quays in sub-zero temperatures and a Dragon Boat Race at Trafford Water Park.
They also did four walking challenges, one involving a 16.3-mile walk, which takes in the landmarks of Peel Tower, Turton Tower and Rivington Pike, a 20-mile walk starting from our head office around the local area, and two in the Peak District - the three peaks and the nine edges.
As well as this year of fundraising to mark 20 years in business, CBS gifts every employee one day per year to participate in volunteering opportunities for charity partners.
CBS’ My Make a Difference Day scheme is an important benefit that the business offers to its employees and significantly contributes to the wellbeing of the team.
Ms Broderick added: “We’re thrilled to have completed our 12 months of fundraising and hit our goal.
“We pride ourselves on giving back to the local community and I would like to say a special thanks to everyone for getting involved in the challenges either by taking part, by supporting your colleagues or by helping raise the sponsorship."
