An award-winning Ukrainian concert pianist who has helped to raise thousands for charity will perform at Bury Parish Church on Friday.
Ivan Hovorun has contributed to amassing more than £10,000 from Ukrainian relief concerts across the country amid the ongoing war with Russia and launched a fund for young musicians from his homeland.
He decided to move to England after being awarded a scholarship in 2004 to study at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), from which he graduated with a master of music degree in 2011.

This month, Bury Parish Church’s charity of the month is the Ukrainian Music Bursary at the RNCM. All donations are welcome.
