Bury's motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network in the next two weeks.
They are both are expected to cause moderate delays, with drivers facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M60, from 8pm on September 24 to 6am on Sunday, October 8, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M66 northbound and southbound, junction 3 carriageway closure due carriageway improvements.
One more closure will begin over the next two weeks:
• A56, from 9pm on Monday, October 16 to 5am on Tuesday, October 17, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M66 northbound and southbound, junction 0 - two lane closure of a carriageway due to maintenance works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
