Parents have been issued with parking fines and given advice outside a school in Bury this morning, Friday.
Police were stationed around Willow Street near East Ward Community Primary School, making sure parents were parking appropriately.

Officers said one driver had their vehicle seized after driving with a provisional licence with no supervision.
And two drivers were given tickets after stopping on yellow zig zag lines to drop off their children while three drivers were advised about their parking after causing an obstruction to pedestrians, according to police.
Officers want to stress that not complying with the road markings could cause a serious injury to a child or any other pedestrians using the pathways.

A Greater Manchester Police Bury North spokesperson said: “Some parents were greeted by the town centre neighbourhood team this morning when attending the East Ward Community Primary School on Willow Street in Bury.
“The majority of parents dropping their children off were parking appropriately and in line with the Road Traffic Act; however, a small amount were not so were engaged with by officers.
“Three drivers were advised about their parking; their vehicles were causing obstruction to pedestrians who make use of the pavement.
“Two drivers were issued with tickets; they thought it was acceptable to stop on the yellow zig zag lines to let their child exit the vehicle.

“One driver had their vehicle seized as they thought it was acceptable to drive with a provisional license with no supervision.
“The road markings around schools are there to protect your children; being late for work or a meeting is the least important thing in comparison to your child, or the child of another coming home safely.
“Yellow zig zag lines are designed to ensure that the pavement is clear from obstruction and that the carriageway can be clearly seen by all road users, blocking just one of these could obscure the view of a little person trying to cross the road!”
