A “fresh, results driven” public relations duo are celebrating their first year in business after being appointed by eleven businesses in as many months.
Kenland Media Relations, now based in Hawkshaw between Bolton and Bury, was first launched in November last year.
Since then it has worked with fashion, interiors and travel companies, with a brand identity and website created by Bolton based designers Portfolio.
Co-founder and creative director Emma Starrs said: “We started KMR to bring a fresh, results-driven approach to PR for brands in our region and beyond.
“The growth we’ve seen in the first year shows that our model of senior-level PR and retail expertise combined with a hands-on, collaborative style is resonating with clients.
She added: "Huge thanks goes to Portfolio design agency in Bolton for creating a brand identity and website that has helped to attract new business."
Kenland was founded by Ms Starrs, a PR industry expert, and retail boss Jane Ramones with the aim of helping brands with their communication services.
Ms Starrs says she and Ms Ramones bring decades of combined experience to developing tailored campaigns to raise brand awareness, drive sales and strengthen their client reputations.
Their agency includes media relations, product placement, influencer collaborations, awards entry, content creation and event management.
Co-founder and strategic director Jane Ramones said: “The response from brands across our target sectors has been extremely enthusiastic.
“They see the value in our model, and the results we’ve been able to achieve.
“We’re thrilled with the growth we’ve experienced in such a short time, and excited for what the rest of 2023 and beyond holds as we continue expanding our capacity and client roster.”

“The national coverage they've secured so far has been great for bookings and we look forward to continuing our work together."
