A woman who battled breast cancer for more than a year is giving back to close causes - with the help of her family.
Paula Nelson, from Woolfold, was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2022, and started chemotherapy two months later.
She then had surgery in November before having radiotherapy in February and another round of chemotherapy in April.
And last month Paula was given the "all clear".

She said: “I wanted to give something back to cancer services so in October last year when I was going through my chemotherapy, I did a skipping challenge for Cancer Research where £2,500 was raised.
“Then in February this year I arranged a sponsored walk, an auction and raffle for Macmillan Cancer Support where we raised £8,500.”
The Macmillan fundraiser event consisted of Paula’s husband Jason and son Dean walking from Manchester United Football Club's Old Trafford stadium to Bolton Wanderers' ground in Horwich.
This was ended with a fundraising event, sponsored by 3 Ears Band with an auction and a raffle taking place.

The most recent fundraising event Paula was involved in was a prosecco afternoon tea held on August 19 at Elton Fold Workmens Club to raise money for Breast Cancer Now.
The event was sponsored by Shiny Music who provided three live singers for the event.
Speaking about the event, Paula added: “Around 90 to 100 people attended that and we raised around about £2,000.
"The tickets sold out in around a week, and we even had a reserves list, it was absolutely rammed.”

Paula’s 11-year-old niece Ella Rogerson sold handmade bracelets at the afternoon tea which raised a total of £150, all of which she donated to Breast Cancer Now.
A JustGiving crowdfunding page was set up where all the money raised from the prosecco afternoon tea and the target for the charity is £2,500 and £1,955 has been raised so far.
Paula hopes to hold more fundraising events next year as she has recently returned back to work after 15 months.
Jason and Dean are planning to walk from Bury to Blackpool at some point next year which will be in aid of a cancer charity.
