Four men have been charged with a range of drug conspiracy offences after a police raid in Bury.
Officers raided a licensed premises on Haslam Street on Friday, September 1 in response to various concerns raised by people living nearby.
They seized a total of 11kg of Class A drugs and arrested four men from across Bury and further afield.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Operation Revoke was launched in response to the residents’ concerns surrounding anti-social behaviour at a licensed premises on Haslam Street in Bury.
“This operation culminated in a warrant at the premises and successfully resulted in four men being arrested on Friday, September 1.
“A total of 11 kilos of Class A drugs was seized from the premises and four men have subsequently been charged as a result.”
The four men include Malcolm Tidyman, 43, of Tunstall Close, Bury, who has been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, production of Class B drugs, conspiracy to supply Class B drugs and breach of a serious crime prevention order.
Nicholas Durrant, 38, of Bolton Road, Bury, was charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, conspiracy to supply Class B drugs, disqualified driving and driving without insurance.
Anthony Davidson, 61, of no fixed abode, was charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and producing Class B drugs.
Brian Morrison, 51, from Northern Ireland, was charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.
All four will be brought before Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court.
