Bury's motorists will have five road closures to avoid on the National Highways network over the next two weeks.
And four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure is already in place and is expected to carry on this week:
• M60, from 9pm on August 15 to 5am on September 30, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 anti-clockwise, junction 19 - carriageway closure for electrical works.
A further four closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M66, from 8pm tonight, Wednesday, August 30 to 5am on Thursday, August 31, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M66 northbound, junction 2 to junction 1 - lane closure for sign erection.
• M60, from 9pm tonight, Wednesday, August 30 to 5am on Thursday, August 31, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 clockwise, junction 17 to junction 18 - carriageway closure for carriageway reconstruction and renewal.
• M60, from 9pm tomorrow, Thursday, August 31 to 5am on Friday, September 1, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 clockwise, junction 15 to junction 17 - carriageway closure for carriageway reconstruction and renewal.
• M60, from 8pm on Saturday, September 2 to 6am on Sunday, September 3, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 anti-clockwise junction 19 to M66 - carriageway closure for electrical works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
