A Bury school has praised its "resilient and determined" pupils as they picked up their GCSE grades this morning, Thursday.
St Gabriels RC High School staff are proud to see students "reaping the rewards" after all their hard work and revision leading up to their exams.
Headteacher Terri Rosa said: “We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students at St Gabriel's RC High School.
"Their attendance, resilience and determination throughout this year's GCSE examination series was outstanding- it is wonderful to see them reaping the rewards of their hard work today.
“Once again, our students fulfilled their potential in the core subjects of English and Mathematics.
“As a Catholic school, we are thrilled to have maintained extremely strong outcomes in Religious Education, and as a place where students are encouraged to discover and nurture their God-given talents, we are particularly proud of the progress they made in art, drama and music.
“We wish our class of 2023 every success in their chosen next stages of education, confident that they all have very bright futures ahead of them, ready to make positive contributions to society.”
