A former beauty salon in Tottington could be turned into a wine bar under fresh plans.
A change of use planning application has been lodged to turn the site of The Aura Tree salon, which is now closed, into a "café/wine bar".

The Church Street property is not attached to any private or domestic properties and will be fully insulated and have double glazing under the proposals.
Therefore, noise should not prove to be a nuisance, it has been said.
The applicant has no plans to serve restaurant-style meals.
A statement with the application said: "At the moment there are no plans to fit a commercial kitchen as this area will be for snacks only with a look at doing basic bar snacks.
"These will be well under guidelines and more suited to a domestic kitchen.
The proposed opening hours will be from 11am to 11pm from Tuesdays to Thursdays, from 10am to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and 10am to 11pm on Sundays. It would be shut on Mondays.

Parking at the moment would be on the road as other shops and cafes in the area offer the same provision.
Neighbours were consulted about the plans on Wednesday, August 2 and a decision date for when the application is determined has not yet been set.
