A man who was arrested 20 years ago has been taken into custody again for drink driving, police have said.
The 40-year-old was arrested in Prestwich was arrested last night, Wednesday, where he was allegedly found to be over the drink driving limit.
A test found he had 55 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, officers said. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

He was stopped by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) Special officers, who volunteer for the force, after they said they noticed his car was "not registered properly".
A GMP Bury North spokesperson said: “Prestwich - Almost exactly 20 years to the date since his last arrest - a 40-year-old gent has been arrested for drink driving tonight and blew 55 in custody - legal limit 35.
“Initially stopped by our GMP Specials as the car was not registered properly.”
