Police in Radcliffe have warned those who ride off road bikes in an anti-social way will be punished.
Recently, Radcliffe neighbourhood officers have responded to several complaints about off road motorbikes causing problems around the town.
And police say have managed to identify some of the owners and have visited those.
They have warned riders that is they are caught riding the bikes antisocially, they will be given a warning and if they continue will have their bikes seized.

Police also urge residents to get in touch with them if they see any instances of anti-social behaviour or if they want to report an incident in relation to this issue.
A Greater Manchester Police Bury North spokesperson said: “The Radcliffe neighbourhood officers have responded to several reports that off road motorbikes have been causing anti-social behaviour in and around Radcliffe.
“Officers have managed to identify some addresses linked to these off-road bikes and have visited the occupants.

“Where there is evidence that they have been driving/riding in a careless and inconsiderate manner (contrary to Section 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1988) a formal warning has been issued under Section 59 (60) of The Police Reform Act 2002.
“These warnings are placed on the person and the vehicle that they are riding.
“If they continue to ride the vehicle in the same manner, then the police can seize the vehicle/machine they are using under Section 59 (60) of The Police Reform Act 2002.

“If the vehicle itself is driven/ridden in the same manner by someone else, then it will also be seized.
“Hopefully this will deter people from riding off road bikes where they shouldn’t and in an anti-social and inconsiderate manner.”
