A woman has been arrested after two people were reportedly caught taking drugs and drinking alcohol at Bury Interchange.

Transport police were sent to the station after a man and woman were accused of causing anti-social behaviour (ASB).

Officers said the woman tried to give officers false details after it emerged she was wanted for shoplifting offences in Cheshire.

The pair were "removed" from the station and the woman was then arrested.
