Drivers in and around Bury will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for in the next two weeks.
Three of them are expected to cause moderate delays with motorists facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M60, from 8.30pm on July 17 to 5am on August 3, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 both directions, junction 18 to junction 21 - lane closure for drainage.
A further six closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A56, from 9pm tonight, Monday, July 31 to 5am on August 19, slight delays of under 10 minutes: A56 both directions Edenfield to Bent Gate - lane closure for electrical works.
• M66, from 9pm on Monday, August 7 to 3am on Tuesday, August 8, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M66 northbound and southbound, junction 2 lane closures due to maintenance works.
• M60, from 8.30pm on Thursday, August 10 to 5am on Saturday, August 12, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 both directions, junction 16 to junction 18 - carriageway closure for horticulture.
• M66, from 8pm on Saturday, August 12 to 5am on Monday, August 14, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M66 both directions, junction 2 to junction 4 - lane closure for litter clearance.
• M60, from 8.30pm on Saturday, August 12 to 5am on Monday, August 14, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 both directions, junction 18 to junction 17 - carriageway closure for horticulture.
• M60, from 9pm on Monday, August 14 to 5am on Wednesday, August 16, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 clockwise and anticlockwise junction 17 to junction 19 lane closures and slip road closures due to maintenance works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
