A Bury based construction company is celebrating winning a prestigious award at the North West Regional Construction Awards 2023.
F Parkinson, based on Hornby Street in Bury scooped the ‘SME of the Year Award’ at the event which took place on July 6 at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool where over 400 North West construction professionals attended.
F Parkinson operate throughout the North of England delivering award-winning projects.

They partner with public and private sector clients to provide construction solutions to projects.
Beating eight other shortlisted contractors, the judges were really impressed by this submission.
They noted the prevailing market conditions that all SME’s are faced with at the moment, but this company clearly demonstrated how it tackles these issues with its clients and suppliers in a thoroughly open and transparent manner.

In spite of the challenges faced, the company says it has a relentless focus on resilience and continuous improvement.
Amongst other things during this period, they have improved payment procedures and increased focus on mental health, also while diversifying their client base.

F Parkinson will now be entered into the Constructing Excellence National Awards to be held in London in November.
