A man has been arrested after a police chase following the discovery of a stolen motorbike in Prestwich.

The bike was spotted by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) Special officers at 12.35am today, Wednesday, before a man was taken into custody following a foot chase.
A second man was detained but released pending further enquiries.
Special officers give up their own time to volunteer for the force.
A spokesperson for GMP Bury North said: “Prestwich - right time (12.35am) right place!
“Our GMP Specials spooked some baddies with a stolen motorbike.
“With the help of D Relief response officers arrested a male after a foot pursuit (second male detained but released pending further enquiries).”
