Drivers in and around Bury will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that both of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, show that two closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• M60, from 8.30pm July 17 to 5am August 3, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 both directions, junction 18 to junction 21 for lane closure for drainage.
• A56, from 9pm July 31 to 5am August 19, slight delays of under 10 minutes: A56 both directions Edenfield to Bent Gate for lane closure for electrical works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
