An inquest has opened into the death of a two-month-old baby girl.
Malaeykah-Rose Rostron from Prestwich died on June 28.

The inquest opened at Rochdale Coroner’s Court and heard how on the evening of her death her mother, Danielle Rostron fed Malaeykah at home before putting her to bed.
A while later her grandmother went into her room to see her, and Danielle went too.

After seeing liquid around Malaeykah and noticing that she was unresponsive, Danielle quickly phoned 999 before beginning CPR.
Malaeykah was taken to North Manchester General Hospital and was pronounced dead.

Assistant Coroner Matthew Cox set the date for the full inquest to be held in October of this year.
