A beautiful haven for wildlife will be welcoming visitors this weekend.
Parkers Lodges at 28 Lodge Side in Elton Vale (BL8 2SW), which offers stunning views, will be open on Sunday, July 9 in an open garden event.
Described as like a nature reserve, the owners are opening the site as part of the National Garden Scheme (NGS), which raises money for charity.

A description from the NGS states: "Parkers Lodges is set on the site of a demolished Victorian Mill that was used for bleaching.
"Since the houses were completed in 2014 a small group of volunteers have been working to transform what was a jungle into a manicured wild space that still allows the local wildlife to flourish.
"Set in 12 acres with two lakes with 50 percent of them open for a leisurely stroll round."
