A young Radcliffe teenager has taken another step closer to fame after landing a modelling job for sportswear brand, JD.
Derren Healey, has been spotted by friends and family after his modelling photos were picked up and used on JD Sports' website to advertise their brands.
The 13-year-old, whose dream it is to become famous, has been working tirelessly to achieve his goal and doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
Dad, Dale Healey, said: “He is a super busy and super talented kid, I am so proud of him.
“He has been modelling for JD, voiced the cartoon character in Simon the Super Rabbit, wins nearly all of his street dancing competitions and helps out in the gym at Radcliffe Elite Amateur Boxing Club.

“He has his goals, his head screwed on and a dream of becoming famous.”
Derren, who goes to St Monica’s High School, Prestwich, was first spotted through his street dancing hobby after his parents noticed him constantly dancing in the living room at the age of four and stealing the show at family events.
Dale said: “He was always dancing so we took him to some classes, and we were blown away by him.
“He performed at Prestwich Carnival and then it progressed on from there.
“Derren was winning all the competitions and was scouted for an audition, got through, and was set to go on a cruise around Europe for the next auditions when covid happened and it was all cancelled.

“After that, we had several agents approach us with offers of going to America to be signed but in the end, we signed him with a Manchester-based company, PHA Icon Management.”
Derren is currently at Freak Dance Academy, dancing on Sundays and Mondays and works at Radcliffe ABC on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with his dad, who is a personal trainer there.
