Four people have been injured after a road crash between two vehicles last night.
Firefighters from Whitefield Fire Station were called to the scene on Holland Road, Radcliffe, at around 8.15pm on Sunday night, July 2.
There they found that two vehicles had crashed and that one of them appeared to have careered off the road.
Crew manager Clive Hopkins said: “The car careered off the road and into a house, a lamp post was also affected.
“There were four casualties, police were called to the scene, NWAS were called to the scene.”
He confirmed that one person was taken to hospital and that firefighters were on the scene until around 9.15pm on Sunday evening.
Crew manager Hopkins said: “We were making sure the car was safe and on the scene making sure the people there were safe.”
As yet the cause of the crash has yet to be determined, but police have been at the incident and are now investigating.

In the event of an emergency, members of the public have been urged to call the fire and rescue service on 999 as soon as it is safe to do so.
