In January this year, officers spoke to residents following reportsof anti-social behaviour in the hope the information could support local officers 'more effectively'.
Addressing residents on social media, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Officers from the Transport Unit have been up to Bury Interchange yesterday evening (Saturday) in response to an increased amount of anti-social behaviour.
"We have been speaking to members of the public and staff on site and gathered information and intelligence, which will lead us to more effectively support your local police officers."
In March, a police scheme was launched aimed at deterring anti-social behaviour and crime at the transport hub as part of an ongoing effort to reduce it.
