An eatery selling “guilt-free street food” will be coming to Bury town centre next month.
Döner and Gyros, located on the side of Kaspa Desserts at The Rock, will be the first branch of the chain to open in the North West.
The business is run by the same owners as Kaspa’s and the area manager, Nidal Alkhanshali, said he was excited at the opportunity to open the venue alongside the dessert place.
He said: “When you open a Kaspa's you are given the chance to open a Döner and Gyros too, so we jumped at the chance and are now going to be the first one in the northwest to open.”
Shoppers were quick to spot the opening soon sign at the front of the venue and Nidal said several customers had expressed their interest and excitement.
He said: “This is a new experience for me and although there have been a couple of hiccups with renovations, we expect to be open by the end of July.
“It is in the perfect location next to Kaspa's and customers can sit in, take away or order for delivery.
“We have already had a few people asking about the opening, what is happening and letting us know that they were excited to see us up and running.”
The venue is waiting for equipment to be fitted as well as the tables and chairs.
Alongside serving Döner and Gyros, there will be "lighter meals" such as salads and rice bowls as well as vegan options.
