Two people have been arrested after a young man was reportedly stabbed in Radcliffe this afternoon, Saturday.
Police were sent to Bury Street at around 5.15pm to reports of an "injured male" and a cordon was set up near Radcliffe Hall Primary School.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment "on injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening".
Two "males" whose ages have not been released have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (section 18 assault).
Greater Manchester Police added that "enquiries are ongoing" and forensics officers were in attendance.

One resident said: "I got back from work at 5.06pm.
"At about 5.13pm we heard some people shouting and screaming, we thought it was kids.
"We checked the CCTV, at 5.24pm police were outside the school.
"A young lad had been stabbed.
"Police and ambulance and CID were there, when he left he was conscious."
The resident also said a nurse treated the victim before emergency services arrived.
