A Bury-born star has said she is “in good hands” with Royal Bolton Hospital staff, as she updated fans on her pregnancy.
Gemma Atkinson 38, and her fiancé, Gorka Marquez 32, have praised the “incredible” staff at the hospital after receiving what could be their last growth scan before their baby is born.
The Hits Radio host and Strictly Come Dancing star gave fans a positive update on the pregnancy via Gemma’s Instagram and praised staff who Gorka said were “very caring".
She said: “We have just been to what could be our last growth scan before the little fella arrives, he is in the right place and is the perfect size.
“We have been to Bolton, and I can’t rave about that hospital enough.
“They were incredible last time with me and Mia.
“Some of the team are the same and some were different but they were just wonderful and I feel like I’m in good hands.
“God bless them, God bless the NHS.”
Gemma announced in January that the pair would be welcoming a baby boy this summer.
The couple had their first child, daughter Mia, back in July 2019 at the Royal Bolton.
