Thousands of festival-goers flocked to Prestwich at the weekend for Parklife 2023 at Heaton Park.
Most of the borough came alive with sunshine and music this weekend as sounds from DJs and performers at the Prestwich festival carried across Bury.
Thousands of happy faces filled the park to enjoy the weekend and despite the heat, there was a constant buzz of excitement.
Here we have a collection of photos and videos from Saturday, June 10, at Parklife:
This group of friends said: “We got here at about 2pm and had a walk around but needed a sit-down and to find some shade!
“It feels amazing to be here even with the heat.
“Our top three people to see are Annie Mac, Aitch and Fred again.”
Friends, Mollie Frost and Mya Grace Wheall had just been watching ShyFx at the Worried About Henry Stage.
They said: “We are hot, buzzing and happy.
“I'm happy covid is over, I'm happy that I'm with my friend and, I am happy that we can come to incredible events like this.”
Friends Sean Corcoran and Ewan Simmons said: “It's amazing but it is hot!
“We are just trying to find shady spots and stick to stages out of the sun at the moment but so far we are having an amazing time.”
Volunteers were ready for festival goers at Heaton Park Methodist Church with juice, water, toilets and snacks available for anyone.
The group stayed out from 10am until 3pm both days.
Niamh, Katie, and Georgia, who were heading into the festival, said they were excited to go in but “boiling" due to the high temperatures.
