Two sisters from Ramsbottom will be hosting an open day at Peel Tower to raise money for two charities close to their hearts.
Barbara Shelton and Vivien Lee will be raising funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and the Multiple Sclerosis Trust in memory of their brother Colin Lee who died of MND in 2017.
On Sunday June 25, cakes and drinks will be for sale to raise money for the two charities.

The tower will be open from 10am to 4pm and visitors will have the chance to climb to the top of the tower for the fantastic views.
The historic tower on Holcombe Hill opened in 1852 in honour of Sir Robert Peel, former Prime Minister.

Vivien said: "We'd love to see you all at the tower, it's a great walk up the hill and there'll be lots of goodies to reward yourself with when you get there.
“We've raised hundreds of pounds for the charities previously so let's see if we can break our record.”

The East Lancashire Long Distance Walkers Association, of which both sisters are members, will be calling at the tower for a break on their 20-mile walk that day and also helping out with staffing the event.
