Metrolink services across the network are being disrupted today.
They include he Bury and Oldham are being disrupted this afternoon.
Now services are partly suspended on the Rochdale line via Oldham due to due damage to the overhead line.
Services between Bury and Whitefield were suspended earlier today due to a tree falling on the overhead wires. Now the entire line to the city centre is not operating.
There is currently no indication to when services will resume.
A spokesperson for Manchester Metrolink said: "Due to damage to the overhead line, the Rochdale via Oldham line is currently part suspended.
"Services will run between Newton Heath and Moston and Rochdale Town Centre.
"Tickets and passes can be used on thr 57, 59, 76, 76a, 81, 83, 114, 149, 181, 182, 408, 411, 415, and 471 bus services.
"Metrolink apologises for any inconvenience this may cause."
