The following people from Bury have recently been dealt with by magistrates for a range of offences.
People have been penalised for motoring offences and also for being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
Joel Glynn drove a black Honda Civic on Water Street, Radcliffe in September last year without a licence or insurance.
He admitted the two offences when he appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court.
The 28-year-old was banned from the roads for a year.
Glynn, from Severn Close, Bury, was also fined £20 and ordered to pay further costs of £128 at a rate of £5 per week.
Suaiel Haider drove a Land Rover Discovery on Middleton Road, Blackley, in April 2022.
The 41-year-old did this without insurance.
The case against him was proven at Tameside Magistrates Court.
He was banned from the roads for six months due to “repeat offending.”
Haider, from Mosley Avenue, Bury, was also fined £660 and ordered to pay further costs of £156.
Badr Khan failed to tell police who was behind the wheel of a Land Rover alleged to have been involved in an offence.
The offence took place in March this year.
The case against the 31-year-rold was proved at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court.
Khan, from Raven Street, Bury, was given six points on his licence and fined £660.
He was also ordered to pay extra costs of £354.
Anthony Nuttall was drink and disorderly in Unsworth last month.
The 35-year-old admitted the offence at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court.
He was given a conditional discharge meaning if he remains out of trouble for the next year he will receive no further penalty in relation to the offence.
Nuttall, from Patton Close, Bury, was ordered to pay costs of £85 within a month of the case calling at court.
