Firefighters put out a large rubbish fire found in a garden in Bury.
A crew from Bury fire station attended Rochdale Old Road after receiving a call at around 10pm last night (Monday May 23).
Watch manager Greg Punshon said that the rubbish ignited, and the heat caused damage to the windows.

He has advised people to not burn rubbish in their gardens.
Greg said: “There was a large quantity of rubbish in a garden on Rochdale Road after it ignited and the heat from that caused damage to the windows of the property.
“We were in attendance for approximately half an hour and police are also investigating.
“We would advise people not to burn rubbish in their garden.”
