Bury Croquet Club has shown its generosity in supporting a popular borough cause.
The club, which play at Whitehead Park, has presented Bury Hospice with a cheque of £732.75.
It raised the funds at a hospice day event on April 22 at Coronation Park in Radcliffe.
Pat Lomas from the hospice also demonstrated her skills of the game, while Tina Harrison MBE, chair of Together Radcliffe Group, added to the event's vibrant atmosphere.
Bury mayor Cllr Shaheena Haroon also joined in with the action.
The event was so successful that the club organised another event with proceeds going to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Hospice community coordinator Rachel Krafft expressed her gratitude to the members of the club for their efforts and continuous support.
The club's next open day will be held on Saturday, May 27 at Whitehead Park.
The event coincides with National Croquet Day and will run from 11am to 4pm.
Admission is free, with attendees encouraged to make voluntary donations to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
