Andrew Richards has now been found, police have said
A fresh appeal has been launched to search for a man who was seen in Bury last week - but have been warned not to approach him.
Andrew Richards, 54, was reported missing by health care professionals during an escorted visit to Bury town centre on Wednesday, May 10.
He was also seen on Trinity Street in Bolton at 2.15pm the following day.
As Richards was detained under the Mental Health Act at the time and in response to ongoing assessments, he is also wanted on suspicion of absconding from lawful custody.
As well as Bolton and Bury, Richards is known to have links to the Maesteg area of South Wales.
He is a white man of slim build, has a bald head and is 6"0 tall.
He was wearing the clothes shown in the CCTV picture.
