A "joy rider" was ordered to stop and had their bike seized from them after using it in an "anti-social" manner yesterday, Monday, police have said.

Officers “robustly” stopped the biker in Radcliffe following the incident.

And the rider was was reported for having no licence or insurance.

Sharing a picture of the bike on social media, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said: “GMP traffic officers and (the) GMP Safer Road Targeting Team safely ended this ASB biker's little joy ride round Radcliffe this afternoon (Monday).

“Rider was robustly stopped to prevent any further pursuit and reported for the usual - no licence, no insurance.

“Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.”
