A man was attacked by a group of men in a street robbery in Bury town centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Officers say the robbery took place at Parks Yard, just off Silver Street and close to the Elton Bullit taxi rank, at 4.30am.
A man was assaulted and had items stolen by another man before being attacked again by a group of men.
Police are now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
On social media, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police Bury North said: “A robbery incident took place at Parks Yard, Bury (just off Silver Street, close to Elton Bullit taxi rank) on May 14, 2023 at 4.30am.
“A male was assaulted and had items of his property stolen by another male.
"This male was then further assaulted by a group of males believed to be part of the same group during the incident.
“Please can you ask anyone with any information or any potential witnesses to contact Bury Neighbourhood Crime Team on 0161 856 8222 or to email 16697@gmp.police.uk and quote Log 747-14052023.”
