Taken in 1968, this photo shows the Greenmount base of a company which is still manufacturing today.
Brookhouse Mill was opened by Greenwood and Coope in 1959 for both the production and storage of carpets.
A major blaze two year after this picture was taken destroyed the main warehouse at Brookhouse Mill, but it was rebuilt and the premises have been extended further over the years.
The company trades under the Cormar Carpets name and remains one of the market leaders.
