A car and wheelie bin fire broke out late last night, Wednesday, in Heywood.
Firefighters from Bury Fire Station were called to the blaze on Waterfold Lane at around 11pm.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus to tackle the fire and were there for around 40 minutes.
Three wheelie bins were also damaged as a result of the blaze.
Police were also in attendance.
Watch manager Rick Taylor said: “We were called out at around 11pm to a vehicle fire on a street at the edge of Heywood and Bury.
“A vehicle and three wheelie bins had caught fire on Waterfold Lane and we had to use breathing apparatus to put the fire out.
“We were on the scene for around 40 minutes.”
Greater Manchester Police has been contacted for more information about the incident.
