A family-run business based in Bury and Manchester marked its 65th anniversary with a special visit from football legend Gary Neville.
Wholesaler Rayburn Trading has performed saw the biggest uplift in sales for confectionery in the first quarter of this year compared to its competitors.

The business traditionally specialised within the household sectors but introduced drinks and confectionary around 12 years ago which is now one of its main sales drivers.
As a result of this success, former England and Manchester United star Neville was invited to attend Rayburn's base for the morning.

The day was filled with Bury-born Neville having a tour of the showroom and warehouse followed by a Q&A session and finished with meeting the Rayburn team.
Many of the Rayburn team were United fans and the team enjoyed asking Neville questions and getting to know him.

Managing director at Rayburn Trading, Howard Goldman, said: “It was fantastic for Gary to see our warehouse and meet the staff, he was interested in how our operation works and was interested to open an account with us.
“He was very generous with his time signing shirts and answering questions, and we even found out his favourite chocolate bar, many thanks to Joe and Mondelez for organising such a great day.”
